Course Overview

The Diploma in Accounting is a recognised as entry-level accounting that provides you with a solid grounding in the accounting discipline. It enriches your understanding of accounting and taxation processes, the ability that is valued in today’s financial and employment market. You will develop practical skills in financial accounting, budgeting, auditing, management accounting, taxation, book keeping role and project management. In addition you will build your skills in dynamic business tools and knowledge such as spread sheets and computerised accounting software. Terra’s Diploma in Accounting is a qualification for admission for Degree courses in partner Universities.

Financial Accounting 1, Business Mathematics, Principles and Practices of Management, Principles of Microeconomics, Financial Accounting 2, Business Law, Principle of Marketing, Principles of Macroeconomics, Partnership and Company Law, Intermediate Accounting 1, Costing1, Taxation 1, Intermediate Accounting 2, Costing 2, Management Accounting, Business Statistics, Advanced Accounting 1, Financial Management, Advanced Accounting 2. Computerised Accounting, Taxation 2, Auditing, Organizational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Training, Business English, Occupational English , Pengajian Malaysia, Bahasa Kebangsaan A/B, Pengajian islam / Pendidikan Moral, Basic Outdoor Recreation

Note:

• Candidates must sit for all papers in 6 semesters.
• In addition, they will undergo Industrial Training for 14 weeks

Entry Requirements

• Minimum 3 credits (including Mathematics and English and a pass in Bahasa Melayu and History) or
• Certificate in Accounting holders (credit exemption granted)
