The Bachelor of Science (Hons) Business and Marketing programme offered at AIMST University is a 3 ½ year programme. The pro-gramme is designed to take a broad ap-proach to develop your knowledge and skills in ways that enable you to think strategically about the growth of your organization and develop effective marketing practices that make and shape the markets in which you want to have impact. This degree focuses on the marketing functions of an organization. Students are trained to become marketing professionals through case analysis, brainstorming sessions, practical projects and industrial training. The marketing profession provides a wide range of job opportunities for its graduate in hotel industry, manufacturing, banking, consultancy, research firm, education industry and more.
The Bachelor of Science (Hons) Business & Marketing degree programme helps students to prepare for their future career in marketing in a multitude of dynamic industry contexts by providing them with theoretical grounding in the discipline and research, analytical, reporting, presentation skills and marketing abilities.
STPM / A level: Pass with CGPA ≥ 2.0 Or Grade C in 2 subjects. Pass English at SPM Level
AIMST Foundation /Other Foundation / Government Matriculation / Diploma: A Pass with CGPA ≥ 2.0
STAM: Pass with minimum grade of Jayyid and pass SPM with credit in Mathematics and pass in English
UEC: Full pass in 5 subjects with grade B
International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.5 for IELTS or its equivalent.
Students in a-three-and half year duration period, 7 semesters full - time course will be assessed through a combination of summative and formative assessment which comprises written examinations, practical report, presentations, assignments, industrial training, and research projects.
