Entry Requirements

    • If CGPA is between 2.00 and 2.50, the applicant can be accepted subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Non-Related Fields:
    • Minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate.
    • With relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
    • Without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses.

English Language Requirements

For International Students:

  • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0.

Regulations:

  • According to the Ministry of Higher Education, students must achieve the minimum required score in an English language proficiency test to continue their studies in the main programme.
  • Students who do not meet the English requirement can apply for a student visa on a conditional basis and enrol in an English Language Certification programme at APU upon arrival in Malaysia.
  • Students must pass the IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/MUET assessment within a maximum period of 12 months.
  • Failure to obtain the required level of English competency within this period will result in the student having to return to their home country.

Exemptions:

  • Students from English-speaking countries.
  • Students whose previous Bachelor’s or Master’s degree was taught in English.
  • Applications for exemption must include supporting documents.
