This programme provides and equips students with skills in writing and presentation, public relations, content editing in journalism and broadcasting. As a result, students will be more mobile, dynamic, creative, enterprising and innovative to stand out in the crowd and be competitive in the industry. As the news in business moves more rapidly from printed media to electronic media, demands will grow for students to be equipped with journalism skills for broadcasting.

• Passed Sijil Tinggi pelajaran Malaysia (STPM)/A-Level with a pass in two (2) subjects or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR

• Passed Foundation Studies in City University College of Science & Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or recognized by the Malaysian Government; OR

• Passed Diploma from any Higher Learning Institution recognized by the Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR

• Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with at least a Jayyid rank and passed SPM or equivalent witn minimum Band 1 in MUET; OR

• Passed International Baccalaureate (IB) with minimum 24 points; OR

• Passed Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with a minimum average of 50%; OR

• Passed South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with TER 70; OR

• Passed Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT), AU with a minimum average of 50%; OR

• Passed New South Wales Higher School Certificate (HSC) (Yr12), AU with a minimum average of 50%; OR

• Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
