Course Overview

he Diploma in Accounting (DIA) offers students the flexibility and opportunity to embark on a professional accounting route by taking the CAT examinations concurrently on their own. DIA is designed to equip students with all the necessary technical skills and knowledge that are required to fulfill an accounting role at the technician level. It is also structured to provide a sound knowledge that is required of a professional accounting executive.

DIA covers a wide range of key accounting and finance areas such as how to interpret financial statements, plan, manage and measure performance using budgets and other financial techniques, make financial decisions and manage all kinds of financial risks.

Upon successful completion, DIA graduates will have an excellent grounding for employment in various industries – both financial and non-financial fields – such as accounting, administrative and HR executives, or marketing positions.
