Course Overview

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Agrotechnology programme responds to the market demand for trained and skilled manpower in the food agricultural industry. This programme aims to produce Industry-ready Graduates.

The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Agrotechnology programme is committed to developing students’ agriculture management skills to a level that will allow them to succeed in the academic programmes of i-CATS UC. Through innovative, research-based educational practices and hands-on training with industry, the program aims to help students achieve academic readiness by fostering their intellectual curiosity. As they develop their knowledge through study skills and critical thinking, students will integrate independent and collaborative learning with the appropriate use of information technology. It also aims to forge collaborations and links with industry players through the sharing of expertise, knowledge, and experience.

Entry Requirements

  1. Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two (2) subjects, or its equivalent; and possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with three (3) credits including Science subject, or its equivalent; OR
  2. Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, or its equivalent; and possess SPM with three (3) credits including Science subject, or its equivalent; OR
  3. Matriculation/Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent, and possess SPM with three (3) credits including Science subject, or its equivalent; OR
  4. A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent.
  5. Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.
