Course Overview

Entry Requirements

• Pass SPM/SPMV with minimum 3 credits including Science subject; OR
• Pass UEC with Grade B in 3 subjects including Science subject; OR
• Pass O-Level or its equivalent with Grade C in 3 subjects including Science subject; OR
• Pass Certificate in related field with CGPA of 2.00; OR
• Completed/ Passed Skill Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 – Senior Estate Conductor or in a related field AND passed SPM with 1 credit or its equivalent; (for this entry, bridging programme will be offered together with the ongoing curriculum within their studies for 2 semesters; OR
• SMU3/SMA/SMK/MA with an average mark of 55 AND English Language Proficiency Requirement: IELTS with a score of Band 5.0; OR
• Any other equivalent qualification(s) recognized by the Malaysian Government.

The oil palm continues to be a dominant contributor to the growth of the agriculture sector. In Sarawak, the rapid growth in the oil palm plantation has created many job opportunities to be filled by local people. Those with Diploma in Plantation Science can seek a position as Supervisor, Cadet and Junior Assistant Manager.
