English Module

Bachelor’s students are required to take an additional four (4) English modules. These modules are equipped to help bridge the gap for the students to comprehend and express themselves in speaking and writing.

They are specifically designed to meet the English Language learning needs of students. Students will be given a grade only and will not be counted in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

Entry Requirements
  1. Pass STPM or equivalent with at least grade c (cgpa 2.00) in any two (2) subjects and credit english at spm level; or
  2. Pass A-Level in two (2) subjects; or
  3. Pass STAM with at least jayyid grade and credit english at spm level or equivalent; or
  4. Pass unified examination certificate (UEC) with at least grade b in five (5) subjects and credit in english subject; or
  5. Pass matriculation/foundation with minimum cgpa 2.00 and credit english at spm level or equivalent: or
  6. A diploma in media and communication or equivalent ; or
  7. A diploma or equivalent with minimum cgpa 2.00 and credit in english subject at spm level or equivalent.

Credit in english subject at spm level maybe be exempted for candidates (i), (iii), (v) and (vii) if the qualification contain english subject and the achievement is equivalent or above the credit requirement at spm level.

English language requirement for international students:

  • TOEFL with a minimum score of 500; or
  • IELTS with a minimum score of 5.0; or
  • Other equivalent qualifications
