Master of Arts in Professional Communication (ODL)

Course Overview

The Master of Arts (Professional Communication) Programme is designed to provide students with the skills to embrace and manage contemporary communication issues in the industry.

Students will explore the art of digital information management and they will be equipped with all the skills to become communication experts in this challenging globalisation era. By enrolling to this programme, graduates are expected to enhance the quality of their portfolio and gain competitive advantages in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

Malaysian Students

• A Bachelor's Degree with CGPA of 2.5 and above; OR
• A Bachelor's Degree with CGPA of below 2.5 with at least FIVE (5) years of working experience; OR
• Other qualifications approved by the University Senate

International Students

• A Bachelor's Degree with CGPA of 2.5 and above; OR
• A Bachelor's Degree with CGPA of below 2.5 with at least FIVE (5) years of working experience; OR
• Other qualifications approved by the University Senate; AND
• Pass IELTS with minimum Band 6, or TOEFL with a minimum score of 600

English Competency Requirements

All international students are bound to the English Competency requirement set by the University and the Malaysian Qualification Agency except those who are:

  • From an academic institution which uses English as its main medium of instruction.
