Course Description

In this diploma programme, students are exposed to the concepts and applications of power generation, transmission and distribution. With an emphasis on the utilisation and control of electrical energy and technology, students gain a strong foundation in both theory and practical training with valuable hands-on experience through projects and industrial training programme.
 
Upon completion, students will be able to articulate seamlessly into a KDU engineering degree programme.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENT
  • SPM / O Levels :
Min. 3 credits (inclusive of Mathematics & Science subjects)
  • UEC :
Min. 3 credits (inclusive of Mathematics & Science subjects)
ENGLISH REQUIREMENT  
Local Student : Pass (SPM) / Pass (1119 / UEC / GCE O Level examination) / Min. score of Band 4 in MUET
International Student : Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a score of 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based); or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL
