Course Description

Entrepreneurship has become more significant throughout the contemporary design scene in recent years, and it is no longer enough to only have creative talent to be a successful designer. Knowledge of markets and a sound grasp of business and finance are also highly necessary. The Diploma in Entrepreneurial Design, the first-of-its kind in Malaysia, trains students to be designpreneurs with innovative solutions to design-related problems.

Students will master the basics of design such as visual scripting, sustainable designing plus fashion and store merchandising. They will also gain practical experience in conceptualising and learn business management skills to start their own enterprise.

With the Malaysia Design Council (MRM) as our key partner, KDU is making waves in design education by fostering a greater exchange of ideas and providing recognition for the young talents that we nurture for the creative economy.
