Course Description

This research degree may be undertaken in any of the School of Science’s principal research areas and strengths. You must complete a 50,000 to 70,000-word these as part of the program.

The work undertaken for this degree must constitute a significant contribution to the knowledge and understanding of a field of study of direct concern to the school and demonstrate your capacity to carry out independent research.

Entry Requirements

To enter Monash University, students must satisfy particular academic, English language and age requirements.

To apply for the Master of Science (Research) program, you must have completed a degree with honours 1 (first-class) or 2A (upper second class) in a relevant research area.
