Course Overview

The products of computer engineering are in every facet of our lives. They allow us to have web based chats, send e-mails from our smartphones and withdraw money from ATMs. Therefore, computer engineers must have detailed knowledge of both hardware and software to design, build and use complex information processing systems for a wide range of applications. Through computer engineering, engineers can initiate further developments in robotics, software applications for business and even medicine. That is the kind of innovation and entrepreneurial mind-set that we at MSU encourage in our students.

Curriculum

Entry Requirements

Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2

i. Pass STPM or its equivalent, with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in Mathematics and one relevant Science subject

ii. Recognised Diploma in Engineering / Engineering Technology or its equivalent, with minimum CGPA of 2.0;

iii. Recognised related Vocational and Technical/ Skills Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.0.

For International students, TOEFL score of 500 OR IELTS score of 5.0 OR its equivalent.
