MSU’s diploma programme in accountancy combines studies in accounting with those of law, finance, and management. You will graduate with the expected ability to assist the accountant in managing accounting reports. Your subjects of study include financial accounting, microeconomics, business law, taxation, audit, and financial management. Your lecturers are industry professionals, and the learning opportunities and experiences we provide you will add depth and breadth to your understanding and develop both your trade and life skills. An internship or industry project at the end of your studies ensures your industry-readiness for a career in accountancy.

You will need THREE (3) Credits at SPM level including in Mathematics; OR a PTPL Certificate in Business Management with a Pass in all subjects; OR an equivalent qualification recognized by MSU Senate.
Diploma in Accounting (DIA) is a two-and-a-half-year career-focused industry-developed programme by the Department of Accounting and Finance at MSU’s Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP).
