The Foundation in Business programme is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge to students who are keen in pursuing a career in business management and accounting. You will receive instruction on a wide range of business subjects ranging from economics and management to finance and accounting. Our lecturers will guide you throughout your academic journey and incorporate their academic and industrial expertise in their teaching. The theoretical and practical aspects of these fields are integrated with 21st century learning skills, enabling you to have a firm grounding in this discipline. The transferable skills you gain in your foundation year will ensure that you will have a smooth transition to your bachelor programme.

You need at least FIVE (5) Credits at SPM/SPMV/Ordinary level OR an equivalent qualification recognized by MSU Senate.

Upon successful completion of this programme, students equipped with the excellent knowledge and skills in these areas may embark upon various relevant degree programmes offered at MSU or upgrade their academic pursuits internationally in UK, Australia, USA or any other MSU partner universities over the world under the International Students Exchange Programme (ISEP). 

Among the specialisations that the students may choose including International Business, Accounting, Decision Science, Investment Management, Industrial Management, Hospitality Management or any other relevant degree programmes.
