Bachelor in Forensic Science programme aims at integrating the knowledge, attitude and skills in forensic sciences across the curriculum. The students will be provided with the knowledge and skills to investigate crime cases and integrate scientific theory and practical training that will be required to work in a highly specialized forensic laboratory. Students will learn the various theories of crime and deviance in society that form the basis of criminal law and criminal justice system of the country. Upon graduation, graduates will be able to perform crime scene investigation, analysis and report writing and become experts in the court of law. They will also learn to appreciate the concept of a civil community that respects the rights and property of others and abhors violence, theft and exploitation of others.
(i) A pass in STPM/Matriculation/A-Level/Pre-University programme or its equivalent, with minimum 2.50 CGPA in the following subjects:
(ii) Pass The South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with minimum score of 65% - 70% in the following subjects:
(iii) Pass Canadian Pre University Programme (CPU) with minimum score of 80% in the following subjects:
(iv) Pass Foundation programme from any provider of higher education recognised by KPT with full accreditation, and score a minimum CGPA of 2.50 in the following subjects:
(v) Diploma with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 in relevant field from any provider of higher education;
(vi) Diploma in relevant field from any provider of higher education with CGPA less than 2.75 and at least 3 years of working experience in relevant field;
(vii) Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in 5 subjects;
(viii) Other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government

Graduates are qualified candidates opt to endeavour into Forensic Unit at Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Ministry of Health, Chemistry Department (Jabatan Kimia Malaysia) or Ministry of Science & Environment.
All fees are in RM (Ringgit Malaysia) currency unless stated otherwise.
