Entry Requirements

Entrance Qualification from KPM dated 4 December 2018
(Reference No: JPT/BPP(U)1000-801/33/Jld32(15)

i. Entrance Qualification for STPM Candidates
a. Pass SPM/ equivalent with at least credit in Bahasa Melayu
b. Obtain at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in General Studies and Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in two (2) other subjects; and
c. Pass Malaysian English Test (MUET) with Band 1.

ii. Qualification for Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) certificate
a. Pass SPM / equivalent with al least 5 credits; and
b. Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Malaysia at SPM level / equivalent (priority); and
c. Receive at least Jayyid in STAM Examination ; and
d. Pass MUET with Band one ; or

iii. Entrance Qualification for Matriculation Candidate
a. Pass SPM/ equivalent; and
b. Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Malaysia at SPM/ equivalent level; and
c. Pass Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia matriculation / Foundation/ A-Level with at least CGPA 2.00 and
d. Pass MUET with Band one (1); or

iv. Entrance Qualification for Diploma Candidate (Level 4, KKM)
a. Pass SPM/ equivalent
b. Credit in Bahasa Melayu/ Malaysia at SPM Level/ equivalent ; and
c. Obtain Diploma Qualification (Level 4, KKM) or equivalent qualification and endorse by university Senat; or
d. Pass Diploma (Level 4, KKM) in related field with CGPA 2.75 and minimum 3 years working experience in the same field; or 
e. Pass Diploma from Institut Kemahiran Mara (IKM)/ Diploma Kolej Komuniti/ Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM) Level 4, KKM in related field; and
f. Pass MUET with Band One (1) ; or

v. Other Qualification
a. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 5 subjects; or
b. Pass 3 subjects in A-Level (GCE); or
c. The South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with minimum score of 65-70%; or
d. Canadian Pre-university Program (CPU) with minimum score of 80%

For International student, candidate need to obtain at least 6.0 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or score in writing of 550 in Test as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or equivalent.
