This programme offers you the opportunity to transform your passion for cooking into a professional skill that will launch you into the lucrative and exciting world of food preparation. This internationally-recognised diploma equips you with the theory and practice of food preparation, presentation and serving styles. You will also be trained in the areas of inventory control, personnel management, basic accounting and menu planning. Our affiliation with world-renowned hotels will provide you with ample industrial attachment opportunities over and above the 420-plus practical hours you will undergo at the university.
* Pengajian Malaysia 2 is for local students while Bahasa Melayu Komunikasi 1 is for international students.

|Entry Requirements||• Pass SPM / SPMV with at least a credit in 3 subjects; OR • Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a Grade B in 3 subjects; OR • Pass O-Level with at least a Grade C in 3 subjects; OR • Pass STPM or equivalent with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in 1 subject; OR • Pass Certificate in a related field (MQF Level 3) with at least 2.0; OR • Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) / Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) / Higher School Certificate HSC with a minimum of 50% in 5 subjects including science • Pass International Baccalaureate (IB), UK with 24 points in 6 subjects; OR • Pass Canadian Pre-University (CPU) / Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) with a minimum of 50% in 6 subjects; OR • Other qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.|
