Course Description

Multimedia Design is a 3-year course of 9 semesters programme that is designed to acquaint you with industry relevant practices and skills. During the first year, you will be equipped with art & design fundamental studies, history and theories of art appreciation, communication skills and essential technical knowledge to gear you towards your next two years of studies.

In the second year, you will further develop your creative and technical skills through a comprehensive digital media curriculum ranging from digital imaging, time-based media, web design, audio & video production and new media design. You will learn to produce digitally sophisticated work with visual aesthetic and creative concept consideration.

The third year is all about the emphasis of knowledge integration, reinvention and practical application within the realm of your creative skills to create content for web, social media, digital marketing, advertising campaigns and more. You will further gain interpersonal and hands-on production skills that will further equip you for industry employment or further studies.

Entry Requirements
  1. Pass SPM / O-Level with minimum three (3) credits including a pass in English; OR
  2. UEC with minimum 3Bs including a pass in English; OR
  3. Pass The One Academy's Certificate in Communication Design with minimum CGPA 2.0; OR
  4. Other Equivalent Qualifications recognised by Ministry of Education Malaysia.
