Course Description

Quest International University’s BA (HONS) TESL is a 3½ year undergraduate programme. Individuals who graduate with BA (HONS) TESL can pursue teaching careers in national schools, private schools and other institutions of learning in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and other Asean countries.

The programme can also open career pathways in national and multinational companies that employ personnel who are proficient in the English Language particularly in Public Relations, Human Resource, Editing, Writing, Journalism, Advertising Industry, etc. The prospects are good for graduates to be employed locally or internationally.

Assessment
Students’ ability is gauged both through continuous assessments and a final semester exam. The continuous assessment component comprises tests/quizzes, mid-term examination and projects/assignments that accounts for an allocation of about 60% of the coursework marks.. The remaining of 40%  is allocated for the final examination.
 
 

 

Entry Requirements

Pass with a minimum CGPA 2.00 / Pass STPM equivalent with at least grade C in two (2) subjects and pass in related subjects at SPM level or STPM.

Intake Months

3 intakes in a year

All fees are in RM (Ringgit Malaysia) currency unless stated otherwise.
