Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) is developed specifically to meet the current and emergent needs of the Information Technology industry. The programme develops programming skills for Information Technology (Python & Linux), computational thinking, computer networks, and specific application skills in Software Specification and Modelling, System Security, Web Design and Programming, Cloud Computing, & Blockchain and Its Applications. The programme also emphasis on programming fundamentals and their implementation to Information Technology and mobile application.
STPM: Pass with Grade C in any 2 subjects AND Credit in Maths at SPM level
A Level: Full pass in two subjects with a minimum of Grade D in any 2 subjects AND a credit in Mathematics at O level or its equivalent
UEC: PASS with min Grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics
Matriculation/ Foundation: Pass with CGPA 2.0 and Credit in Maths at SPM level
Diploma in Computer Science OR Software Engineering OR Information Technology OR Information Systems or equivalent: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 AND a Credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent;
Any other Diploma in Science and Technology OR Business Studies: Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.5 may be admitted, subject to rigorous internal assessment process AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent.
*Candidate with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 with a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted, subject to the rigorous internal assessment process.
