Course Overview

This programme aims to produce graduates who are equipped with the requisite knowledge, practical skills and attributes to pursue a career in the accountancy and finance profession. The curriculum covers key areas such as financial accounting and reporting, management accounting and control, management information system, taxation, corporate governance, risk management, treasury management and financial management.

Graduates can claim exemptions from the following:

  • CIMA: 11 out of 16 papers.

Entry Requirements

  1. STPM - Grade C in 2 relevant subjects
  2. A Level - Grade D in 2 relevant subjects
  3. UEC - Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
  4. TAR UC - Foundation in Business OR Relevant Diploma
  5. Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subjects:
(1), (2), (3) and (5) must include -

  1. SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (pass) n Mathematics/ UEC Grade C in one mathematics subject
  2. SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E(Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language

Note:

  1. Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Bachelor Degree.
  2. TAR UC Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
  3. Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  4. Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education latest requirements.
