Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours)

Course Overview

This programme provides students with a well-rounded business education through a core curriculum of management, marketing, finance, accounting, economics and law courses. It aims to create competent executives with abilities to contribute and support leadership in organizations.

It is designed to :

1. Equip students with the requisite set of knowledge and skills to succeed in the functional areas of competitive business.
2. Produce graduates with the ability to synthesize and evaluate various information and issues in managing business operations.
3. Produce graduates who possess positive values, attitudes and essential soft skills to contribute effectively in a variety of organisational settings.
4. Provide students with a solid grounding in the field of business administration which will motivate them to pursue higher level of study and life long learning.

Graduates can claim exemptions from 10 out of 16 papers of the ICSA examination.

Achievement

Graduates can claim exemptions from 2 out of 7 papers of the CGI(ICSA) examination.

Entry Requirements

1. STPM - Grade C in 2 relevant subjects
2. A Level - Grade D in 2 relevant subjects
3. UEC - Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
4. TAR UC - Foundation in Business OR Relevant Diploma
5. Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subjects:

(1), (2), (3) and (5) must include -

1. SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (pass) in Mathematics/ UEC Grade C in one mathematics subject
2. SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E(Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language

Note:

1. Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Bachelor Degree.
2. TAR UC Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes.
3. Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
4. Subject to the Ministry of Higher Education latest requirements.
