Course Description

This programme equips students for careers in property valuation, property management, property development, investment and finance. The programme focuses in core competencies required on property valuation in wide ranges of property and purposes inclusive of traditional, statutory, investment, plant and machinery, special properties and development appraisal. Students will be trained in property and estate management areas such as development, land purchase, facilities management, support service, managing and maintaining residential, commercial and industrial property. This programme also emphasis on financial, development and investment practices such as investment analysis, viability study, market study, purchase and portfolio management of investment property and the financing of real estate projects

Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers Malaysia (BOVAEP)

  1. Bac.of Real Estate Management (Hons) Graduates
  2. Eligible to apply as: -
    1. Probationary Valuer, BOVAEP
    2. Graduate Member, RISM
  3. Subsequently register for Test of Professional Competence for Valuer conducted by BOVAEP
  4. Passing the exam and
    1. Register as Registered Valuer with BOVAEP
    2. Admitted as Member of RISM (Sr before name & MRISM after name)

Entry Requirements
  1. STPM - Full Passes in 3 relevant subjects listed in Schedule A^
  2. A Level - Passes in 3 relevant subjects listed in Schedule A^
  3. SAM - ATAR 70 which must include Grade B in 2 relevant subjects
  4. UEC - 5 Grade B which must include: one mathematics subject and 4 other subjects listed in Schedule A^
  5. TAR UC - Foundation in Arts (Track A) OR Relevant Diploma
  6. Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subjects:
(1), (2) and (3) must include SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C in Mathematics/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject
(1), (2), (3) and (4) must include SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language*

*Grade C and above in AELE0364 English Language conducted by TAR UC is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail English Language at SPM/O Level/UEC level.
