Achievement | TAR UC is a CIM Graduate Gateway accredited university in Malaysia. Under this arrangement, students are given exemption on Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) basis for 1 out of 3 modules of CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing. In the Third Year, students will be prepared to sit for the CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing examinations. Upon passing the CIM examination and with relevant work experience, graduates are eligible for Associate Membership of CIM. |
Course Description | This programme aims to produce competitive graduates with intellectual, creative & cognitive skills and with strong entrepreneurial spirit necessary for the growing business sector. It seeks to further enhance the knowledge and skills of students in the field of marketing. TAR UC is a CIM Graduate Gateway accredited university in Malaysia. Under this arrangement, students are given exemption on Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) basis from one out of three modules of CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing. Entry Requirements | (1) STPM - Grade C in 2 relevant subjects (2) A Level - Grade D in 2 relevant subjects (3) UEC - Grade B in 5 relevant subjects (4) TAR UC - Foundation in Business OR Relevant Diploma (5) Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA Compulsory subjects: (1), (2), (3) and (5) must include - i) SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E (pass) n Mathematics/ UEC Grade C in one mathematics subject ii) SPM Pass/ O Level Grade E(Pass)/ UEC Grade C in English Language
Note: a) Students without a credit in SPM Bahasa Melayu are required to pass Bahasa Kebangsaan A before the award of Bachelor Degree. b) TAR UC Diploma will be accepted on credit transfer into Bachelor Degree programmes. c) Equivalent qualifications/qualifications from other Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. d) Information is correct at the point of printing.
