Course Description

This programme aims to produce competitive graduates with intellectual, creative & cognitive skills and with strong entrepreneurial spirit necessary for the growing retail industry.

It is designed to:

  1. Produce graduates who possess intellectual, creative and cognitive skills that are essential in enhancing their abilities to analyse, critically assess and recommend solutions to retail related problems and issues.
  2. Produce graduates who have positive attitude, professional and ethical values and essential soft skills.
  3. Produce graduates with strong sense of entrepreneurial spirit and equipped with critical thinking, reasoning, managerial and entrepreneurial skills that will prepare them for employment and self-employment.

Compulsory Courses:
English Language, Tamadun Islam dan Asia, English for Communication, English for Management, Critical Thinking, Hubungan Etnik, Moral dan Etika/ Pengajian Islam and Co-Curricular.

 

Entry Requirements
  1. STPM - Full Passes in 2 relevant subjects
  2. A Level - Passes in 2 relevant subjects
  3. SAM - ATAR 70 and minimum Grade B in 2 relevant subjects
  4. UEC - Grade B in 5 relevant subjects
  5. TAR UC - Foundation in Business OR Relevant Diploma
  6. Other IHL - Relevant Foundation/ Diploma accredited by MQA

Compulsory subjects:
(1), (2), (3) and (4) must include -

  • SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C in Mathematics#/ UEC Grade B in one mathematics subject#
  • SPM Credit/ O Level Grade C/ UEC Grade B in English Language*

#Grade B and above in AMMS0104 General Mathematics conducted by TAR UC is accepted as having fulfilled the mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E(Pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required mathematics subject.

*Grade B and above in AELE 0364 English Language conducted by TAR UC is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM English Language/Grade D or Grade E (Pass) in O Level English Language/ Grade C in UEC English Language.
