This diploma programme is designed to equip students with the skills and competencies to work with and educate young children with special needs. It provides the students with the fundamental knowledge of child development, early childhood education, various aspects of special needs, their impact, and management.

Penghayatan Etika & Peradaban, Bahasa Kebangsaan A/Public Speaking/Drama, Civic Consciousness and Volunteerism, English for Tertiary Studies, Co-curricular courses, Professional English, Academic English
SPM - 3 Credits in the relevant subjects
O Level - 3 Grade C in the relevant subjects
UEC - 3 Grade B in the relevant subjects
Certificate - Relevant Certificate accredited by MQA
(1), (2), (3) Compulsory subjects
SPM Pass/O Level Grade E (Pass)/UEC Grade C in English Language**
Note:
#Grade B and above in AMMS0104 General Mathematics conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Mathematics requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Mathematics subject.
## Grade B and above in FPGS0104 General Science conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the Science requirement for applicants with a pass in SPM/Grade D or Grade E (pass) in O Level/Grade C in UEC in the required Science subject.
**Grade C and above in AELE0364 English Language conducted by TAR UMT is accepted as having fulfilled the English Language requirement for applicants who fail English Language at SPM/O Level/UEC.
