Course Description

This Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture programme is a pre-professional course that provides a recognised qualification in Architecture, and offers a pathway for further studies towards becoming an Architect.

Designed to give students design and technical skills for a career in the architecture industry, this architecture degree combines the disciplines of art and science. It focuses on the relationship between the poetics of space, application of structure and technology, as well as the role of architecture in social, cultural and environmental and sustainable development. Graduates also gain a solid understanding of building design, history of architecture, construction technology and architectural practice, to contribute towards the development of our society and nation as a whole.
