UCSI University’s Bachelor of Finance Economics (Hons) is structured to equip students with sound knowledge of financial and economic analyses. Students are trained to put their ideas to practice throughout the programme, which boasts breadth and depth in financial economics.
At the University, we believe in grooming the best practitioners not only in, but for, the industry. In this light, our graduates are equipped with a solid understanding of key industrial practices and the fundamental assumptions that make them work. From policy analysis to financial risk analysis, our students will be exposed to a wide variety of decision making processes and strategic considerations, enabling them to make more informed financial decisions. With professional knowledge and skills in hand, our graduates are set to meet the needs of today’s dynamic marketplace.
Assessments
Learners will be assessed with a combination of examinations, projects and assignments. In the final year, students are required to complete a dissertation course.
Students will also have to complete internships to develop career-related skills that will mould them into effective practitioners.
