Course Overview

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering) or also known as BCS puts emphasis on three main aspects which can be identified as technical knowledge, technical skills and social skills. This program supports the objectives of the faculty to produce knowledgeable, highly skilled and competitive graduates in the field of Software Engineering.

Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements of Bachelor Degree Program for Matriculation or Equivalent Level

• Pass in SPM or equivalent level with Credit in Bahasa Melayu
• Pass KPM Matriculation / PASUM / UiTM Foundation with minimum CGPA of 2.00
• Obtain at least Band 1 in Malaysia University English Test (MUET)
• Obtain at least Grade C in Mathematics / Engineering Mathematics / Computer Science or,
• Obtain at least Grade B+ in Mathematics / Additional Mathematics in SPM

Entry Requirements of Bachelor Degree Program for STPM or Equivalent Level

• Pass in SPM or equivalent level with Credit in Bahasa Melayu
• Pass STPM with obtain at least Grade C in Pengajian Am and other two (2) subjects
• Obtain at least Band 1 in Malaysia University English Test (MUET)
• Obtain at least Grade C in Mathematics T/ Advanced Mathematics T / Mathematics S / Computing or,
• Obtain at least Grade B+ in Mathematics / Additional Mathematics in SPM

Entry Requirements of Bachelor Degree Program for Diploma or Equivalent Level

• Pass in SPM or equivalent level with Credit in Bahasa Melayu
• Obtain a diploma which is recognized by the University Senate
• Obtain at least Band 1 in Malaysia University English Test (MUET)
• Year of Entry and Credit transfer is based on the approval by faculty
• Obtain a diploma in related field from IPTA with minimum CGPA of 2.50 or,
• Obtain a diploma in related field from IPTS / Polytechnics with minimum CGPA of 3.00
