The program focuses on food service management taking into account aspects of nutrition in the planning of specific food groups. The program is being offered in view of the rapid growth in the hospitality, tourism and recreation and leisure centers including health centers and clubs. These developments have implications for the food service and food industry that will provide job opportunities for graduates of the program.
General University Requirements
Passed the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) / equivalent with credit in Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia or credit in Malay / Bahasa Malaysia July Paper;
and
Obtain a Diploma or other equivalent equivalent recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the IPTA Senate;
or
Pass the Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) examination in 2010 or earlier with at least;
and
or
Pass the Matriculation examination in 2010 or earlier with a minimum CGPA of 2.00;
and
Earned at least Level 1 (Band 1) in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).
Special Needs Program
For STPM / Matriculation 2010 candidates or before:
Must have at least a Grade C (2.00) in the following subjects:
