The Bachelor of Education (Music) is a degree that equips students with the necessary qualification to become confident, innovative and inspiring music teachers in Malaysian schools. Our students receive practical skills in, and an understanding of, a wide range of music. Our students have become highy respected and sought after teachers all over Malaysia.
Four Years Structure Programme – 135 Credit Hours
Courses marked with (*) are compulsory core courses and repeated if earned grade C and below.
Beginning semester 5, student must register any elective course from others faculty with allowed by Academic Advisor.
A pass in the ‘A’ Level examination with a minimum of Grade C in any three (3) subjects ;
A pass in the Secondary High School Certificate/Senior High School Diploma (at least 12 years duration of school (6+3+3))
A Diploma or other qualification with a minimum of 2.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) deemed to be of equivalent standing from the Malaysian Government and approved by the UPSI Senate.
Fulfils specific programme requirement by obtaining a Diploma in the appropriate field or other qualification approved by the UPSI Senate.
A pass in the “University Entrance Exam” (for countries where candidates must pass the “Entrance Exam” before being accepted into a university) ;
A good pass in the ‘O’ Level examination or its equivalent ;
Have sat for TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 ; IELTS with a minimum score of six (6);
A Pass in the English Language Proficiency (ELP) at UPSI.
All fees are in RM (Ringgit Malaysia) currency unless stated otherwise.
