| Course Description | The Dietetics programme is a full time programme offered over 4 years or 8 semesters. Graduates will be awarded the Bachelor of Health Science (Dietetics). The programme will help to fullfil the manpower needs for Dieticians in Malaysia. Students will be exposed to all aspects of food care and nutritional requirements for patients especially those requiring special diets as well as knowledge of community nutritional requirements. The graduates are expected to be able to function as dietitians as well as consultants in related fields and in the field of nutrition as therapeutic food. |

| Career Prospects | Graduates in dietetics receive a wide and substantial knowledge of basic sciences, computer literacy, behaviourial science, basic statistics, communication skill and thinking technique in addition to the study of dietetics and nutrition. Our graduates are versatile and ready for a wide range of jobs such as dietitians, scientists, research officers, educators and academicians in public and private institutions of higher learning. |
