Digital transformation is changing how industries operate. In the era of Industry 4.0, organisations across sectors such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance and entertainment are adopting intelligent technologies to improve efficiency, streamline operations and support better decision-making.
Industrial intelligent systems combine technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics and the Internet of Things with industrial processes. These systems use data and automation to improve productivity and transform traditional industries including manufacturing, energy and logistics.
The Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours) (Industrial Intelligent Systems) provides students with a foundation in programming, networking and databases, together with technologies that support Industry 4.0. These include digitisation and data acquisition, data-driven decision-making, artificial intelligence, robotics and automation.
This is a work-based learning programme that allows students to spend one year in industry, receive guidance from industry partners and learn in a real working environment.
