Plantation management focuses on the strategic oversight and efficient operation of large-scale agricultural estates specialising in crops such as oil palm, rubber, tea, coffee and cocoa. It involves improving crop yield, quality and sustainability while making effective use of available resources.
The Bachelor of Plantation Technology (Management) with Honours combines agricultural science with plantation management. Students develop knowledge of crop production, pest and disease management, soil fertility and the use of modern technologies in plantation operations.
The programme also covers business management, economics and environmental conservation, preparing graduates for leadership and management roles in the plantation industry. Practical training and fieldwork are included to help students address real-world agricultural and plantation challenges.
The programme currently holds provisional accreditation.
