With the changing consumer buying behaviour and the growth of E-commerce, logistics and supply chain professionals are highly sought in almost all industries. Delivering products and services to consumers at the right time, right condition and right price through effective and efficient logistics and supply chain management is key process of today's businesses.
UTAR's logistics and supply chain management focuses on the logistics function throughout the supply chain. The success of a business links inextricably to the performance of supply chain processes. It is therefore important for the students to study the entire supply chain and its components. This programme incorporates industrial revolution 4.0 elements in the syllabus and concentrates on Information Technology (IT) related subjects that will further enhance students' understanding in embracing technology in the supply chain in the new digital era.
UTAR graduates in logistics and supply chain management will be equipped with a comprehensive range of analytical, problem-solving and professional skills, not just in supply chain management but also in other business areas including Human Resource Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Business Economics, Management and Decision Science.

A minimum CGPA of 2.50 or CGPA 2.00 with at least 2 years working experience in relevant field, subject to Senate / Academic Board’s approval. 3. Applicants will be required to pass the admission screening process conducted by the faculty and undergo the Bridging programme, if necessary, during the period of their study in addition to the existing curriculum structure. 4. Credit transfer can be considered on a case-to-case basis and subject to existing credit transfer policies which are in effect.
