Programme Objectives

This program will produce graduates that can work as technical assistant or assistant engineer in electronic and electrical engineering industry. The graduates may also further their studies for a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering or bachelor in any related field at local or foreign universities.

To fulfill the objective of this programme, the graduate should be able to:

1. Solve technical problems in electrical engineering fields and able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
2. Demonstrate semi professional competencies such as the skill of troubleshooting and equipment operational by applying knowledge in electronic and electrical engineering.
3. Involve in community or professional organizations or make contributions towards society.
4. Further studies at higher level and professional development as professional.

Year 1

Electric Circuit, Electrical And Electronic Workshop, Instrumentation & Measurement, Malaysia Dynamic, Programming, Foundation Engineering Mathematics, TITAS, English Proficiency, Co-Curriculum, Digital Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering Laboratory 1, Electronics 1, Engineering Mathematics, Physics, English for Academic Study.

Year 2

Circuit Theory, Electrical Technology, Memory and Interfacing System, Electrical Engineering Laboratory 2, Higher Engineering Mathematics, Electronics Manufacturing Process, English For Professional Communication, Electronics 2, Industrial Automation & Robotic, Network and System, Microprocessor, Engineering Management, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development, Creative and Critical Thinking, Islamic Institutions.

Year 3

Islamic Worldview/Self Development, Project, Programmable Logic Controller, Electronic Engineering Laboratory, Communication System, Industrial Electronics, Engineering Software, Control System, Industrial Training, Industrial Training Report.

Diploma Electronics Engineering holder can work as an assistant engineer or technical assistant in electronics or electrical engineering industry or any engineering industry or further studies for a Bachelor degree at local or foreign universities.
