The One Academy: Bigger, Better and Greater!

After an astounding 28 years of providing top-notch creative education, the time has come for a new chapter to begin for The One Academy. Starting from humble beginnings of a single storey shop-lot in SS14, Petaling Jaya to a three storey establishment in the heart of Bandar Sunway in 1991, our founders were dedicated to provide world-class creative education to the younger generation. Throughout the years, we had expanded to continue pursuing this goal. Now, in an effort to continue imparting top-grade creative knowledge to the masses, The One Academy invested more than RM150 million to upgrade our standards to greater heights and has relocated to a new campus located in a high-rise building.

Located in the bustling area of Sunway, the new campus spans over 25 levels of infrastructure and is equipped with industry-standard facilities to bring teaching and learning to the next level. Travelling to and fro the new campus will be a breeze with the ample amount of public transportation such as BRT, KTM, LRT and buses located just steps away. Other amenities include a food court, printing services, and an art shop on campus as well as many other eateries in and around The One Academy. Safety and security of the students is also improved as they do not have to cross the roads for classes because all of it takes place inside the building. Besides that, there are also ample parking spaces provided for students ease in commute as well as being strategically located right next to main highways such as the Federal, LDP and NPE Highways.

This move was in line with our vision of leading innovations and developments within the creative services industry and permits us to expand our teaching capabilities. Holding strong to our philosophy of ‘Masters Train Masters’, the new campus allows us to house and bring in even more industry experts and professionals as well as accommodate additional new creative international programmes to provide the best in creative education to our students.

Among the facilities made available is a library in which students can find an abundance of materials and tools to assist them, student lounges, theatre halls and auditoriums where master classes and talks will be held as well as labs and work spaces for training and practical workshops. Besides that, we also have studios for sound recording, photography and videography to enable the students to conveniently work on their projects using top-grade technology. Each of the faculty here at The One Academy has its own designated area ensuring all the students are able to learn in a conducive and engaging environment.
