The scholarship is awarded to students applying for the 2-year A-Level Programme, August 2020 intake, who have completed their IGCSE examinations in 2019.
This Scholarship funds up to 100% of Epsom’s published tuition fee. Closing date for application is Friday, 21 February 2020.
Examination Results & University Destinations
Since the first cohort of Epsom A-level pupils in 2016, 50% of all A-level results have attained excellent A*/A grades. 2019 witnessed another outstanding set of results, by students from a range of academic backgrounds, clearly illustrating the considerable value that the College adds to these students’ level of attainment.
Students go on to study at universities around the world. The majority of their students will study in the UK, where the most popular universities for our Sixth Form leavers include London School of Economics, University College London, Imperial College, King’s College London, Warwick, Bath, Bristol, Manchester, Southampton and Exeter. As befits its aspirational culture, Epsom also enjoys Oxbridge success, with pupils receiving interviews and places to study at leading Colleges in Cambridge and Oxford.
Other popular university destinations of our leavers include the University of Washington in the USA, University of British Columbia and University of Toronto in Canada, University of Melbourne and Monash University in Australia.
Once again this year, Epsom College in Malaysia’s pupils have secured offers to study at some of the world’s leading universities in a vast range of specialisms from Art to Drama, from Economics to Law, and from Medicine to Natural Sciences, across a range of universities in the UK and globally. Nearly all of our pupils’ applications to study in the UK already have received offers of a place, including offers from prestigious universities such as Cambridge, Kings, UCL and Warwick University.

Scholarship Application
Students must apply for the Scholarship by Friday, 21 February 2020 by completing the Scholarship Application Form together with the list of supporting documents stated in the form, and email it to [email protected]
The application will consist of a personal statement and a statement of other achievements beyond academics, such as previous positive contribution to the co-curricular life in schools, evidence of leadership skills etc.
Places are limited. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a 2-day, 1-night programme on a date to be confirmed later, for class observation, entrance exam, interviews etc. The decision of the College is final and conclusive. The College is not obligated to give any reasons on any matter with regard to the application.
