There is a wide range of scholarships available that you can consider. Partial scholarships cover a part of your tuition fees while full scholarships cover the cost for the whole program. Most scholarships do not cover living costs.

Excellence Award Scholarship

The most prestigious scholarship offered at UOW Malaysia KDU. It provides full tuition waiver and every year, only a few distinguished students are awarded with this scholarship.

2. Applicant must be enrolled as a student of UOW Malaysia KDU and pay the full enrolment fee to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.

4. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview within one month after the application closing date. All shortlisted candidates are required to attend an interview. Failure to do so, will result in disqualification of application. Only successful candidates will be notified of the outcome after the interview.
5. All fees paid are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the scholarship application.
6. Successful recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.66 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study in order to maintain their scholarship.

HOPE Bursary

Hope Bursary is awarded to deserving candidates who require financial aid to pursue higher education.

3. Only successful candidates will be notified via email within 2 weeks after the interview. Successful applicants must confirm their acceptance of the bursary by registration within 2 weeks, failing which it will be automatically withdrawn.
4. Successful recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study in order to maintain their scholarship.
5. This bursary is applicable for Malaysian students only.

Driving Dreams Scholarship

The Driving Dreams Scholarship is awarded to students who have outstanding sports achievement at State and National levels, or have demonstrated outstanding leadership ability through active participation in co-curricular activities, social services and volunteerism. The award seeks to help students demonstrating a strong sporting or leadership capability to drive their dreams.

The Vice-Chancellor Scholarship is awarded to current UOW Malaysia KDU students who have consistently delivered outstanding results in their degree program and demonstrate ambitions to positively impact the community and society.

Vice-Chancellor Merit Award

The Vice-Chancellor Merit Award is an award for current UOW Malaysia KDU students in recognition of their academic achievement and professional development.

High Achievers Scholarship

High Achievers Scholarship is awarded to high-flying, well-rounded candidates with outstanding academic results.

1. Applicant must be enrolled as a student of UOW Malaysia KDU and pay the full enrolment fee to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
2. For applications using trial examination results, applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements of the program with actual examination results in order to be awarded with the scholarship using trial examination results.
3. The scholarship will be deducted from the 2nd semester onwards if the application is successful. Students will be notified and required to sign a scholarship contract.
4. All fees paid are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the scholarship application.
5. Successful recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study in order to maintain their scholarship.

Graduate Research Scholarship

The UOW Malaysia KDU Graduate Research scholarship is offered to suitable candidates who are enrolling in postgraduate research programs in UOW Malaysia KDU.

Notes:

1. The scholarship awarded to the recipient is subjected to the following conditions:
   • Submission of satisfactory progress reports at the end of every semester.
   • Applicants who do not meet the conditions above could have the scholarship withdrawn after the issuance of a warning letter.
2. The duration of the scholarship is to follow the minimum duration of the program the candidate is enrolled in.
3. Recipients are to assist their school as teaching/research assistant during the duration of their study.
4. Publication of research in International Indexed Journals is required for the recipient:
   • Master’s degree program – 1 journal publication.
   • PhD program – 3 journal publication.
5. Recipients are required to sign an intellectual property agreement with UOW Malaysia KDU University College.

Professional Accountancy Scholarship

The Professional Accountancy Scholarship is a special arrangement for students who want to excel in the accountancy profession. This scholarship is awarded to students who pursue a Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) / Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) programs at UOW Malaysia KDU College only.
