Course Description

Diploma in Agriculture focuses on agriculture related fields such as plant and animal sciences, food crop and livestock production, pest management, land management, economics and farm management, agri-entrepreneurship and extension. The graduates of this programme possess bright job prospects in the public and private agriculture sectors as well as in fields of research and entrepreneurship. Diploma in Agriculture is a six (6) semester programme with 103 total credit hours.

Fullfills the University General Requirements and SPECIFIC PROGRAMME REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must posses a minimum credit in subjects of Mathematics, Biology OR Science and credit in ONE (1) of the following subjects:

- Physics
- Chemistry
- Agricultural Sciences
- Advance Mathematics
- Advance Science
- Related Science & Technical subjects*

(* Geography/ Agro-technology Studies/ Entrepreneurship Studies/ Accounting Principal/ Mechanical Engineering Studies/ Landscape & Nursery/ Food Production/ Workshop Machinery Technology/ Geometrical & Machines Drawing/ Food Preparation & Servicing/ Crops Production/ AnimalProduction/ Horticultural Decoration and Landscape / Farming Machinery / Estate Management/ Basics of Information Processing/ Catering Technology/ Information Technology/ Basis Economy) and pass English at SPM level
