MAHSA University

MAHSA_MBBSThe MAHSA University College Medical Faculty offers its students the best of modern and traditional mode of learning which is subject-based, system-synchronized curriculum that is both pragmatic and modern in approach.

Whilst it is lecture-driven by highly experienced teachers, innovative methods such as problem-based learning (PBL), e-learning, early clinical exposure (ECE) and small group sessions (with movies, debates and role play) are integrated into it to boost students' enthusiasm.

Here at MAHSA University College, our students' success is our success. We maintain an optimum teacher: student ratio of 1:5. Our faculty members are handpicked from the local and international pool of highly experienced teachers, many having done more than 30 years of teaching. They create wholesome and warm learning environments which are conducive for student-active sessions such as PBL. Their teaching skills are further enhanced by our modern facilities featuring ultra-modern wet and dry anatomy labs, Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) and integrated digital labs to support e-learning, technologically-enabled small group isles and lecture theaters as well as a conventional-cum-virtual library.

MAHSA_MBBS_4The state-of-the-art technology enables students to learn and comprehend difficult subjects better at an accelerated pace. Though many of the medical schools globally are shunting from the use of cadaver in learning anatomy, in MAHSA University College, cadavers ironically lend a touch of "gross excitement" to the learning of anatomy, while physiology and pharmacology comes to life by the use of digital laboratories. Small group sessions, especially in the soft skills module offer personalised attention, with continuing support from the entire staff, ensuring the success of our student.
