General Entry Requirements
The following entry requirements serve as a guide to students wishing to apply for various postgraduate programmes:
- Postgraduate diploma and certificates
a recognised Bachelor�s degree in any field - Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), MIT (Master of Information Technology)
- a recognised Bachelor�s degree in the relevant field; or
- other recognised qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor�s degree with relevant experience
- Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
a recognised Bachelor�s degree in any field - Master of Business Adminstration (MBA)
- a recognised Bachelor�s degree with lower second or upper honours in any field
- two to three years of relevant working experience is usually a prerequisite for this type of course
- Doctorate/Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
- a recognised Bachelor�s degree AND Master�s degree that are relevant to the area of research; or
- other recognised qualifications equivalent to a Master�s degree with relevant experience
- Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)
- a minimum requirement of MBA or its equivalent plus substantial management experience; or
- a recognised Master�s degree and sound knowledge in business and managementrelated fields
- Professional doctorate (Doctor of Medical Science, Doctor of Engineering, Doctor of Manufacturing, etc.)
The minimum requirement is a Bachelor�s degree PLUS a Master�s degree in the relevant field
(Note: The above is merely a guide to the general entry requirements and actual entry requirements may vary from university to university. Some universities may need part-time students to fulfill a residential requirement)
