Marketing is a critical business discipline in many organisations. This programme, has as its emphasis, the creative-driven discipline of Marketing, driven by business theories and concepts to facilitate the exchange of products, services and ideas. Approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, it aims to equip you with a solid grounding of the business and marketing education to launch you into the exciting world of marketing. Coupled with industry-relevant modules that reflect the best current practices, you will be trained to think logically and critically so that you are able to thrive and resolve today’s business challenges and be well prepared to effectively manage the marketing role in any business context.
* Students who have completed the Graduate Preparatory Course at the diploma level are not required to take this course again, but are required to take an additional University Course to ensure that a total of four (4) MPU2 courses are taken.
** DS3024 and DS3025 are meant to be for local students while DS3027 and DS3026 are for international students.
|Entry Requirements||• Pass STPM with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or a Grade C in 2 subjects; OR • Pass A-Level and obtained a full pass in 2 subjects; OR • Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least a Grade B in 5 subjects; OR • Pass a Foundation, ‘Asas’ or ‘Asasi’ programme of an institution recognised by the Malaysian Government with a CGPA of 2.00; OR • Pass Ministry of Education Matriculation programme with a CGPA of 2.00; OR • Pass Diploma (MQF Level 4) from an institution recognised by the Malaysian Government with a CGPA of 2.00; OR • Pass International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma with 24 points in 6 subjects; OR • Pass South Australian Matriculation (SAM) / Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with minimum 50% in 5 subjects including science; OR • Pass Higher School Certificate (HSC) with a minimum of 50% in 5 subjects including science; OR • Pass Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with a minimum of 50% in 6 subjects; OR • Pass Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) with minimum 50% in 6 subjects; OR • Other qualifications recognised as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.|
