The quality of teaching and learning at Taylor's University is well recognised and it has garnered a 'Tier 5: Excellent' rating in the Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education (SETARA '11) by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia for two consecutive years in 2011 and 2012. Most recently, Taylor's, through its School of Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts (TCHT), was awarded the highly coveted 'Tier 6: Outstanding' rating in the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education's Discipline-Based Rating System (D-SETARA). Taylor's is the first and only university in the country to receive this prestigious recognition.

Taylor's College offers uncompromised British, Australian and Canadian pre-university education, recognised by prestigious universities around the world. Acknowledged as the biggest independent centre for Cambridge A Levels (CAL), Taylor’s College also runs the largest and most successful South Australian Matriculation (SAM) and Canadian Pre University (CPU) programmes.

In 2009, Taylor's introduced the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), one of the few higher education institutions in Malaysia offering this programme. With two campus sites in Subang Jaya and Sri Hartamas, Taylor's College aims to produce well-equipped leaders with the necessary capabilities to start and stay ahead as they progress into university and subsequently in their career. This year, Taylor's College added ACCA to the list of programmes it offers to prospective students.

Taylor's College has been voted "Most Popular Private College/ University in Malaysia" for its pre-university programmes in 2008 and 2009 in a survey participated by close to 9,000 respondents aged between 16 to 19 years. Most significantly, Taylor's College was recently awarded the highest rating of 'Tier 6: Outstanding' in the College-Based Category on the Malaysian Quality Evaluation System for Private Colleges (MyQUEST) 2010/2011 by the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
