Nottingham MyResearch Sdn Bhd is a fully owned subsidiary of The University of Nottingham in Malaysia. MyResearch engages with business to provide an R&D service, which can be accessed in a tax efficient way and is able to call upon expertise from across the three University of Nottingham Campuses (Malaysia, China and the UK).

MIDA assists companies which intend to invest in the manufacturing and services sectors, as well as facilitates the implementation of their projects. The wide range of services provided by MIDA includes providing information on the opportunities for investments, and facilitating companies which are looking for joint venture partners. One of the sectors that MIDA is actively promoting is research and development (R&D).

We are delighted that the event will be hosted by the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) jointly with Nottingham MyResearch. The welcoming address will be given by Mr. Rajendran Narayanasamy (Deputy Chief Executive Officer, MIDA) and there will be short talks by Pn. Noor Aieda Ahmad (Director, R&D and Business Services Division, MIDA).

The University of Nottingham’s Vice Provost (Teaching and Learning) Professor Stephen Doughty will share on the University’s capabilities. Professor Graham Kendall (CEO of MyResearch) will also present some of the University’s research strengths, exploring how MyResearch can work with companies, in the hope of establishing long term, mutually beneficial, collaborative relationships.
