Overview
The MSc in Business Information Technology is designed for
individuals coming from a range of backgrounds seeking a change
in direction or simply to add experience in the field of Information
Technology and Information Systems. It best suits graduates standing
to develop Business Information Technology competencies.
This programme places emphasis on the role of information within
and across various functional areas. Students are equipped with
the practical skills and understanding of the impact of information
resources upon all aspects of a business organisation – in both the
operational and strategic decision-making context. By examining
and accessing the ways in which IT is integrated within the business
environment, this course goes beyond the basic hardware and
software knowledge.

Course Structure
After the completion of 7 compulsory modules, students will undertake
a 15,000-word dissertation that applies and extends the theories
learnt. To facilitate the final project process, a personal research
supervisor is assigned to each student project.
Students have the option of completing the course in:

Entry Requirements
- A bachelor ’s degree in any field, or
- Exceptionally matured candidates with non-standard qualifications
