MASTER OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

The International Business Programme is designed to equip
students with an in-depth understanding of business and
management issues from a global perspective. Knowledge
gained from the course will provide graduates with the skills to
lead their companies through the internationalisation process. It
will also provide graduates with the proficiency and knowledge
necessary to confront the challenges and exploit the opportunities
in an increasingly volatile global marketplace. The course is also
relevant to those who seek career advancement in the public,
inter-governmental and non-profit sectors, and others who wish to
extend their skills in the analysis and interpretation of the global
business environment.
Mode of study: Coursework
Course Modules: 12 Units
- 6 Core Units: International Trade Law, Introduction to International Economics, International Business Theory and Practice, Marketing and International Consumer, Managing the Multinational Enterprise: Cases and Issues, and International Trade Policy.
- 6 Electives to be selected from: International Finance, Human Resource Management, International Retailing, Bank Lending, International Business Strategy, Contemporary Issues in Globalisation, International Human Resource Management, International Management Process, and International Marketing.
Duration of study: 3 semesters (full-time), 6 semesters (part-time)
Course fees: RM 47,000 for the whole course
Entry requirements:
- A degree (average 60%) from a recognised tertiary institution.
- To meet the university’s English language requirements.
