Y Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Arshad Ayub Installation as Chancellor of INTI IU

Preceding the graduation ceremony of INTI International University’s Class of 2013 which saw a total of 450 degree and diploma level graduates, of various fields of study, received their scrolls, was the installation of YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Arshad bin Ayub as the new Chancellor of INTI International University (INTI IU).

Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Arshad has held several positions on various educational boards: Chairman of University Malaya’s Board of Directors, Pro Chancellor of University Tekonologi MARA and Governer of Koleg Tuanku Jaafar. He is also one of the founding directors of Universiti Teknologi MARA, pioneered the first Malaysia-US university twinning programmes, and established Malaysia’s largest language centre. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Arshad Ayub’s global philosophy shines through his efforts in introducing expatriate lecturers and external examiners into the Malaysian education scene.

Amit Sevak, CEO of INTI IU and Chairman of its Board of Governors, warmly welcomed Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Arshad Ayub into the INTI IU family, and has expressed his enthusiasm and hope that INTI would continue to succeed in transforming the lives of students, and the education sector, with Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Arshad Ayub’s experience at its helm.

Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama Arshad echoed the Chairman’s sentiments, as he said he looked forward to his tenure with the faculty and staff of INTI IU, as well as their local and international partners, to provide INTI students with a remarkable student experience.
