Potential students invited to ‘coffee date’ with Curtin Sarawak

Miri – 20 July 2016 – Potential students in Miri and Brunei who wish to find out more about courses and enrolment at Curtin University, Sarawak Malaysia (Curtin Sarawak) can do so at the university’s ‘Coffee Date with Curtin Sarawak’ event this Sunday, 24 July.

The event will be opportune for those keen to enrol in the current July/August intake for undergraduate and foundation studies. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as classes for undergraduate programmes commence on 1 August and for foundation programmes on 15 August 2016.

It will be from 1 to 5 pm at the Pullman Miri Waterfront Hotel and admission is free of charge.

Potential students can seek guidance and course consultation from marketing officers of the university, as well as lecturers and current students from its Faculty of Engineering and Science, Faculty of Business and Faculty of Humanities.

Information on financial aid will also be available. Representatives from PTPTN will be on hand to answer any queries and university officers will brief interested students on the Curtin Sarawak Merit Scholarships, which offer attractive fee waivers for applicants with excellent results in the SPM, STPM, UEC, O-Level and A-Level examinations.

Students are advised to bring their actual or forecasted results for on-the-spot assessment and application purposes.
